Oh but you're probably one of them so will probably not mention it. As for being teachers pet, well I'm a wpc and am not in the slightest bit scared to stick up for any one of the new starters I've trained or any other member of staff, be it with the dom or dso or whoever. Not in the union so will never be union rep but you don't have to be to stick up for yourself or others. IMHO union reps are more in cahoots with management.
Not if the work is clear it doesn't. And no, I'm not "one of them",whatever that insinuation was about. I finish on time ,all the time. It's poor management that is to blame, they just pick on easy targets, like new starters and bully them., instead of grasping the nettle and dealing with the early starters and the runners.
What's that suppost to mean, 'not if the work is clear it doesn't? If someone is going home an hr early every day, they ARE costing the business £50 a week. They are getting paid £50 for doing no work, just like your point in the op about wcp. You do well to go home bang on time every day though, can't believe you're never early OR late.

Most of the staff that go home an hour early actually start an hour and a half early - so in effect give RM 30 mins a day for nothing

In our office there are two WPC. Both are used by management to do staffing rotas, sort out holiday sheets and divide up lapsing duties (which they do, because they then don't have to lapse) and assorted jobs that the manager should be doing. (It's also amazing how often they get Saturdays off). They rarely if ever train new staff. New staff get put out on a park and loop duty and it is up to the driver of that pairing to train them. I still will not be completing the Have your say survey, management only really care about the engagement score, nothing else matters.
And if all others accepted the lie which the Party imposed-if all records told the same tale-then the lie passed into history and became truth. 'Who controls the past' ran the Party slogan, 'controls the future: who controls the present controls the past.'"

They have trouble over paying docket correctly in most offices, imagine the FUBAR if they had to make a decision on whether the WPCs were coaching or not. How would it work out when they help a technophobe with the new PDA logging in system.

As I have said before its not the 30 pieces of silver thats the problem, its the Guards not giving them enough work.

Shouldn't the WPC position be part of the managers workload. Our workload increases on a yearly basis,so should theirs.
