Delivery Functionall Supplement??

Hi guys

Can any explain and help me calculate what this means?

"We also offer a weekly Delivery Functional Supplement of £23.96 (pro-rata) plus overtime and shift allowance if applicable.

It's probably ratad so can't work it out

Hours are 9-2.30pm for a delivery driver.

We used to get paid a shift allowance and additional pay for every 'addressed leaflet' we delivered. A few years ago this was all rolled into one payment which is currently £23.96 per week for everyone on 39 hours per week (more or less). If you are only on 25 hours per week you would get 25/39ths of £23.86 on top of your standard pay.

So if I'm on a 26.5 hour contract this means I would get £16.28 per week on top of my wages. I'm assuming this would be taxed also? And is it also paid on overtime?

Taxed on (just about) everything.

The hourly rate for overtime would be your standard hourly rate plus the hourly rate for the Delivery Supplement. You get that for up to a total of 39 hours per week, after 39 hours you don't get the Delivery Supplement. So on a 26.5 hour contract you would get pay plus supplement on your first 12.5 hours of overtime.
