Calling in for shifts

Everyone recently got a text saying only to call in for shifts AFTER youve received a text . Spoke to four people this week who say they are still calling in and getting shifts . Not right , surely ?

I haven't received any text telling me not to call in for shifts but that may be because I have just started working here recently and haven't been contacted often since my induction.

Which number do I call to arrange shifts? is it this one: 0333 240 8502?

I called the number they provided in the text but the lady seemed annoyed and told me to call the number "I'm usually supposed to call to book in shifts" which doesn't make sense because that was the number they gave me...

Everyone in my area got a text a few weeks ago saying of you ring w/out getting a text you wont get shifts. That 03 number is the main Angard reception number. Some of the staff on that number are obnoxious and rude. I give as good as i get ! The number to call for shifts starts 02 , be interesting to know if they let you book shifts without a prior text .

Hi there. I am an angard bod. We are not allowed to ring in for shifts.....but if you dont, you dont really get a shift anymore.
We are being squeezed out at YDC as they are taking on more "proper" royal mail staff.

This seems to be the trend since before Christmas, I've had less than 40 hours since December....
