Haven't heard back from interview

Hi folks. Wee bit of advice please. I went for an interview with Royal Mail last Tuesday (17/01/17) for a postman job and I was told I would hear back the following Monday via e-mail if I was successful/unsuccessful. It is now the following Friday, 10 days later, and I've had no word. I know Royal Mail's recruitment process is notoriously slow, but should I be worried? Would it be wise to phone the sorting office or would that seem too pushy? I'm hoping that this is just normal for Royal Mail, but I'm not sure. What do you folks think? Cheers

Your only point of contact should be with HR. Send an email to myapplication@royalmail.com stating the interview/job you applied for and why you feel you'd be a good match for the company and why you'd enjoy doing the job. Ultimately they give the okay on signing you up.

Thanks for your reply. I heard back eventually after 13 days to say I'd passed the interview!
