Wrong work place on contract!

Been working with royal mail for over 6 months now but when I received my contract before starting it had the wrong work place address. Has made it really difficult to order any uniform due to them having me listed to a different work place. So I haven't been allowed to place any orders. I have said to the manager several times but 6 months on still nothing has been done. Am worried it may also affect me applying for any duties that come up as surely I won't get them if they don't think I work at that office! Any advise? Thanks in advance.

Contact HR re your office and changing it. However, your manager should be able to order uniform on your behalf till its sorted.

As to selection of duties, that's all done in each office locally so it won't affect applying for duties etc. In fact beyond the signing in sheets, I doubt the actual duties people do are recorded centrally anywhere.

Ideal. Thanks for your reply, I did manage to get some uniform but though a different name! I'll try get hold of them myself. Not sure which number to phone though
