he second-class stamped envelope took 13 days to reach her Ebley, Stroud home from Leeds but thanks to the army of Royal Mail postal workers who are hard-pressed at this time of year, it made it nonetheless.

“It was posted on the 15th and got to us today - the 28th - so it took 13 days altogether," said her mum Melissa.
“It was postmarked North and West Yorkshire on 15th December, second class, so took a while to arrive. It was sent by a lovely family up in Leeds that she played a house concert for several months ago. They like her so much she is playing for playing for friends of theirs on January 13."
Hattie, who played the Maggies Cancer Charity Christmas Concert last week in Cheltenham, recently released her A Winter's Day EP and her new album Young Runaway is out now.
