Who made them?
I've never seen a manager around after 10am on Christmas eve in the ( too) many years I've worked here. To be honest a statement like that from a manager would be met with much laughter and then maybe a little concern for the manager's safety.

Our plan for Christmas eve is simple, over-resource the night shift, go in, get out, get done, go home...It's Christmas eve ffs. Any attempt to deviate from this plan would result in more misery than they can handle and managers phoning home making apologies to the wife, husband, civil partner.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

Wouldn't it be nice to have a manager who is still there when you get back 2 hours after your time. Wouldn't it be nice to work for a caring sharing company. Wouldn't it be nice to feel you are appreciated. Wouldn't it be nice to see a manager on the shop floor BEFORE we go out, not sat on his arse in a closed office until we have all disappeared. Wouldn't it be nice to open the courier and see that everything was honkey dory this Xmas, that nobody had issues and it all went well. Welcome to the real world, it was bedlam as usual. 500 years practice still not got it right. Happy Christmas to all we have worked for it. :nana
I quite agree two little words Thank you :no no
