Hi
Im a christmas casual at Royal Mail and got my first pay last Friday and got charged emergency tax.
I was told i needed to send the welcome pack back to prevent this but i didnt get it until late which has now been sent back.
How do i claim the tax back? Will i automatically get it back?
I habe emailed christmas casuals but had no reply

Your tax codes will be adjusted automatically. IIRC you only get a rebate if you are no longer working, or the amount is quite high.

When your tax code is updated you should get a rebate through PAYE. Give it a few weeks.
