Frozen out at PRDC? Is it personal?
As a casual, with two years reliable and hard working service, the phone has suddenly gone very silent. Lost my AWR so wont be coming back but keeping me awake at night not knowing if it is personal or policy. Angard know I have been available these last 6 weeks so I can only assume it is deliberate. Would like to hear from anyone else in the same situation. Get in touch directly on: Private message if you care to share. Thanks. Might be able to sleep now I've got that off my chest?

Hi. I also work at PRDC. Were you not Xmas blocked booked? With Angard, you always gotta chase em, not wait for their contact.

Just a note to the guy with no sympathy - yes, I did phone to confirm availabilty, and email - so I guess your unsympathetic response confirms the personal nature of the freeze out. Hope Nez that it doesn't happen to you. Although at that point you might cast your mind back to the comment you wrote on this thread. Merry Christmas.

Frozen out at PRDC? Is it personal?
Christmas day next Saturday and i have been offered a total of 0 shifts this December
Just what am i supposed to do? been on the books for over 2 years and now this?
No offer of ANYTHING anywhere
Phone every day and all i keep hearing is "there has been no shifts offered yet"
Im thinking of just showing up at the gate and trying my luck
Then the real "quiet period" starts after Christmas
So no shifts to for months then back to 5-10 hours a week? (if im not forced out then as they have hired a lot of new starts through angard )
Happy Christmas i guess..

Frozen out at PRDC? Is it personal?
Just to say - volunteered for block booking and ignored and worked various shifts as requested. I am aware that certain people get regular bookings but that's how it always worked. What has concerned me is the way I've been frozen out, lost AWR and have no recourse to any complaint or grievance process. Still stewing and feel so angry. Zero hours contract is what I signed up for and it suited me, Angard and the Royal Mail for 2 years so what has changed?
If others out there feel similarly aggrieved, rather than fade into the ether, which would suit Angard, Reed and Royal Mail, why dont we get together and at least make the National Press. It worked out well for Sports Direct and maybe Royal Mail might also appreciate the publicity. Just because we work like automatons doesn't mean we shouldn't be treated like human beings when it comes to AWR etc. Anyone in?
