A bungling homeowner extended his driveway entrance so far he cannot drive through it because there's a street sign in the way.
However, he claims he did it on purpose because he intended for the drive to be used as a 'pedestrian entrance' for the postman.

The man who owns the property in Wake Green Road, Moseley, Birmingham, who did not want to be named, said it was done as a 'pedestrian entrance.'
He added: 'The sign has been there for donkey's years.
'I have made changes recently to the drive and the sign does partly block the entrance but it isn't a problem for me.
'The entrance is a pedestrian entrance used for the postman and other people who want to walk onto my drive off Wake Green Road.
Neighbours remain unconvinced and have mocked the homeowner for making the property look 'ridiculous'
John Stanley, 52, who lives nearby, said: 'I can hardly believe that. 'There's no way any straight-thinking person would choose to block off their own drive'
'I have got a big entrance at the side of my property, which is used for vehicles.
'It may look a little strange for people when they see it.
'But to me there is no issue and the whole driveway would never be used to drive a car through.'

Mother-of-two Lucy Chapman, 37, added: 'It makes me laugh every time I see it.
'I was sure it was the workers who had done it in error but I can't believe he actually chose to do that.
'I don't think for a second he actually intended it because it looks absolutely ridiculous.
'He says its a pedestrian entrance. How wide are the people visiting his house?'
Makes a change from having to fight your way up someone's overgrown garden path, after having to try and get through their rotting wooden garden gate! The conversation normally goes, "Can you sort out your gate and front garden as it's very difficult to deliver your mail"? with a reply something like, "Well we never use the front door we park around the rear and use the back door"! FFS some people!
