Is that the email address we can give out for normal (non urgent) reference requests?

Sorry, I wasn't joking. Is this the email address I need to give my (almost) new employer for obtaining a reference. I don't know what the procedure is. Any help is appreciated.

Did you get a suitable answer? I am also looking at how to get a reference as an-ex Royal employee; but it seems hard to find a straightfoward way! How do you get a job reference if for example all your ex line managers are no longer working in the Mail Centre? Any ideas?

email the the department above with your details (Pay Number, work location) and they'll send you yours/one.

Its only a basic reference though. Start Date, end date and reason for leaving.
