2.30 hours early overtime yesterday and 2 hours extended delivery.

Total 15 hours overtime and no questions asked,They are just happy to be clearing in our place,Its basically an open cheque book.

Any other company would be delighted the staff are willing to work overtime at Christmas to help get the work done....

Seems to be open book at mine, sometimes even probably bringing in too much staff early or to do a task that 2 people could do in good time, bringing in 4.

We got staff coming in at 2 -3 am just to prep walks. Overtime being taking up by most of us. But some are leaving in and not taking parcels...one lot even took the parcels and left the mail!! But its all moving. One guy stays out til after 8pm to clear.

It used to be an open cheque book at our place but now managers are going out on delivery when we get back. And they are out working till gone 6pm!!

I suppose the office budget and the bosses bonus are more important than us.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

It's an open cheque book here I suppose to clear the mail here but nobody seems to want to do it! Who would go out to clear up another duty after doing nearly 2 hrs overtime on your own? Duties are just massively too big nowadays in my opinion.
