Parking at the Stoke MDEC

So just got 100% confirmed and start dates/hours sorted but I have read the I cannot use the car park attached to the office (alothough it was 50% empty when I visited today at 11am), It says I must find my own parking locally and having a drive around I am really struggling to see anywhere suitable, the Roual Doulton outlet has a car park and a sign that says something to the effect of "owners leave car at own risk" but doesnt say if I can park there or not and a toby carvary car park which is £5 a day which would be £75 in total. My shift starts at 06:30am and live quite a distance away that a bus would never get me there on time and a taxi would be £10 a day, any ideas?

Just an update for anyone wondering the same thing.

I went there today and asked what the situation is. Between 6 and 6 you can't use their car park. If you are on the night shift however, you are free to park there.

park up Hanley or look around near eturia park for on street

I eventually parked on the ski slope car park (£50 a month) works out at £2.50 a day, No idea why we cant use the office car park I counted 46 empty spaces today and I would say 75% of the casual staff dont even use a car to get in.

I have to agree, the two times I have been there the car park was half empty. It's pretty disgusting that you have to park all the way up there, if its raining you'll get soaked!

Since you've obviously started work now, can you tell me what people wear working in there? It says smart-casual on the letter they sent but that's a bit of a vague term really. Cheers.

casual really, jeans and t-shirt is fine, anything without vulgar slogans on or things like that, last year my team leader said no sports shirts/track bottoms but this year my team leader said he doesnt really mind aslong as its within reason, I just wear jeans and a plain top and trainers, done MDEC 5 times now with same kind of clothes and never been told to not wear certain things.
