The more money is the ESOS payment which was ours to begin with. The 5.4% with the addition of 1.5% IF ALL AGREEMENTS are in place is still only 2.1% over 24 months.

There seems to be hardly any change from the original offer.

The only differences are the words "LOCAL" and "TRIAL" and we all know what trial means!!

LOCAL means getting stuffed by line managers!!

£175? wow bloody wee!! And how much would the back pay have amounted to?

this is all about the lack of communication during the talks by hayes and ward to us. they were quoted over the weekend of saying there will be no point of further strikes we have pushed it as far as we can . they obviously don't know how far we are prepared to go. the lack of communicaion in such an important part of our lives is nothing short of criminal. we've now got to take it into our own hands to get this agreement nipped in the bud before it reaches ballot stge

I've no idea why anybody is suprised by this agreement. It's exactly what I've been predicting all along. A couple of quid a week more and a mish mash of local agreements and working parties to try and cover up the sell out and acceptance of all of RM original proposals.

I may be mistaken but that is the same deal as RM wanted all along so what did I lose all that money for by going on strike. I will be voting a big fat NO to this crap so you union lurkers can take note that I for one will be canceling my union membership and I CAN convince everyone in my office to do the same. :evil/mad :evil/mad :evil/mad Useless useless idiots

SORRY IF THIS PISSES PEOPLE OFF! ive just read the entire statement and wasnt exactly overwhelmed to say the least but i think its a reasonable offer and should be accepted,i understand all the 'to be agreed locally' is bollocks but the pay offer is better than the firemen and the nurses got and they save lives,im not undermining our jobs because i know first hand how much the job has changed just in the last few months so i think we should pull together and understand the need for change or we are going to get shafted with everything.the strikes have achieved alot of things,i think the pros outweigh the cons so lets all stop ranting and just get on with our easyish jobs earn a decent pay and enjoy life!!
