Security checks

Post by Jamie.Baker93 »

Hi I've done Christmas casual work for the last 2 years, I had an email from them on 1st November saying that my security checks are being done, I've got an induction a week on Friday (25th November) and I start on the following Monday (28th November) I haven't received anything back yet, if I don't receive an email, do I still have the job because on the letter it says unless told otherwise you should come to the above dates!

I'm in a similar position - I am due to 'start' tomorrow, but I have recieved nothing yet regarding the security checks. Very frustrating indeed, as no-one to contact. It's all automated via email and phone calling.

Same! today marks the 14 day period and no email, and my provisional offer letter says my first day is in two days (the 24th) and now I really dont know what to do :/ what do I do if the security check doesn't clear before my start date in two days?? Any help from anyone would be amazing.
