Christmas Casual Start Date

Post by MarkPW87 »

Hi, I'm due to attend an interview this week for a Christmas Casual role. Can anyone tell me how long after the interview I'm likely to start work? Do the security checks take a number of weeks to complete? Is it a long process? Thanks

I'm in the same position so that information would be very useful. The shift I'm looking for starts 4 days after my interview (which is surely not enough time to conduct any checks) so I expect they'll just fit me in whenever they get things done ... but would be good to know roughly how long this would be.

Also, why are we asked to bring along a copy of our application form? Surey they have that otherwise we wouldn't have been offered an interview.

Wasn't Christmas Casual role I went for however the time frame after my interview was 1 week later found out I was successful 2 weeks after that passed security checks and another 2 weeks before I started induction and work so 5 weeks in total.
