At the end of the day he is elected by the labour party if you don't like it become a member and put your money where your mouth is on these forums because all this is a talking shop get your £25 out of your pocket and vote and get involved. The conservatives do not want to vote or let you have a say in the running of their party the other party's are more devided than you think.

What is the point of trumpeting the fact that Corbyn was elected as leader of the labour party when he cannot lead or has any chance of forming a Government? It is a race to the top and nobody remembers the also rans. Why would anyone waste £25 to vote Corbyn leader when labour voters have a free vote in the next election, which is the one that counts, or doesn't if like me they choose to abstain.

Watched the Andrew Neill show on Sunday Politics where he had Corbyns Shadow Minister for Business etc, Chinyelu Omwurah, yet another pointer as to why Corbyn cannot ever be elected to form a government, I mean who is the Shadow Cabinet, nothing but political lightweights who nobody has ever heard of. Her one saving grace is her degree in engineering which she will definitely need if she's going to engineer any notable success in politics.

Jezza's nearly apoplectic with rage this morning. His statement re Trump's victory (just released) shows what a patronising arrogant out-of-touch tw*t he is. Shut up Corbyn and realise that the power of the metropolitan elites is waning.

I'm surprised Jezza isn't creaming his Keks, they would seem to have so much in common, Trump is being described as having no political nous so it puts Jezza and him on a par. The difference of course is that Trump has an army of politically savvy support whereas Jezza has an army of no marks on the front bench and a civil service who thinks he's an idiot. I think it was Clinton who said the Brits had virtually pulled someone off the street to lead the labour party.

That, and being in the back pocket of corporate America.

Trump, like Sanders/Corbyn/Brexit/SNP vote, has ridden the wave of the publics disaffection with the (corrupt) political establishment and its clandestine and self serving methods.

If Trump is genuine about his respect for Putin and his scepticism about the benefits of NATO in 2016 - then for me he has got to be better than Hillary's bogus platitudes. I've never quite forgiven her for the "We came, we saw, he died" comment/joke. A slip like that can sometimes give you a clear window into someone's soul.

Yes quite a considered answer, however it was Bill Clinton who said it not Hilary, I don't think she knows who he is tbh.
As for Trump like all politicos will change his tune once he takes office. Though he controls both houses it isn't going to be so easy to carry out his wild promises once he's in the White House, though unlike Jezza he IS in a position to make changes.

Is that because nobody can think of a complimentary thing to say about Jezza fedup? I can't imagine anytime when President Elect Trump would be meeting Jezza now or in the future, if they did Donald would probably give Jezza his car keys thinking he was the parking valet

I think Boris Johnson is right it's whine, whine, whine by the losers of elections or referendums instead of just accepting the result. Whatever the statistics say the winner is the winner and the loser is an also ran. Donald and the Republicans are considered to be the conservatives of American politics which is hardly left wing but it has proved to be a rallying call for change and that puts Merkel in a spin and Ms Le Pen in a strong position in France. I think times will be interesting in the future especially Trump being an anglophile who, after all, has business interests in the UK and whose mother came from Scotland so a Trade Deal with the USA will be less of a challenge.

And pretty much the same had Clinton won...other than you wouldn't have posted this.

Lovely clip of Corbyn and his entourage on TV last. he was approached by a BBC reporter and asked questions about a possible general election...except he didn't answer, but ran away and hid behind a GLASS cabinet while some harpy accused the reporter of harassment.
So the leader of the official opposition party can't answer questions without a script, and is even too stupid to realise that glass is transparent.
Even dear old jet must be seeing the light by now....surely?
