Surely they wouldn't dig their heels in until December with the shares?
There would be a massive backlash, especially leading up to Christmas.
Would the bosses really want to cause that kind of potential disruption leading up to Xmas by not getting the shares money out to those that have cashed in?
I know it doesn't involve all workers, only those that have cashed in but it would still be a wreck less act.

I'm not convinced this is the fault of pay roll. All the woman said to me was they couldn't guarantee payment this week and it could be sometime in November possibly December. I would think there will be a lot of brassed off staff if we don't get it this week and that's putting it mildly.

Totally agree,I can't understand why this money can't be paid to its employees,it stinks and it will only upset those that have cashed in.
Like I said what with Xmas pressure round the corner,do they really want to hold back in paying out the shares?

It seems to me HR and payroll are different departments. Hr can't guarantee payment as it's coming from payroll

Call my cynical but are Royal Mail worried people that might have cashed in shares might not do xmas pressure. This has already taken far too long and I have heard a few people already talking about contacting solicitors.

Lol,put it this way if I don't get my shares money before December,I won't do an hours overtime for them,so if they are expecting us to not need the cash and holding back our money ,then they will trigger the reverse. I can't see anyone who has cashed in and not got their money to do a minutes overtime for them until they get their shares money.

More canteen nonsense, then.
BTW great idea, contact a solicitor to take on the allegedly slow payment of the shares money, get him to take on RM over this and see even less shares money in your pocket when it's sorted.
There's clearly some good 'uns in your office...

THIS!^^^^^
Ive spent money thinking I would have it today!
Arse holes! Give us the right info ffs! :evil/mad
You're spending money you don't have? That's kinda your fault, not royal mail. So what would you have done had we not been privatised and given free shares? Do you have a gambling problem or summut. Think you need to learn how to manage your money better or you're gonna have a miserable existence when you retire mate.
People were told on the letter recieved off Equiniti that if the pay cut was missed when processed,It would be in the following weeks pay.
Lads in our office took this as read and 1 even used his monthly bill money to pay for a holiday expecting it to be in his wages on friday 28th.
Plenty of others accross the country in the same boat,So instead of being a smart arse and insulting people,Look into the reasoning why people are kicking up a stink.
Royal Mail and Equiniti needed to correspond better between themselves and give out the right info to people,Then people like you would have to find something else to get on their hight horse about,Cretin.
Thank you THE GHOST,
We are all in different boats and I am struggling financially at the moment, selling these shares will help me out a fair bit and what i was getting at was i Assumed as almost everyone else that we would have them when we were told we would so used money thinking it's be available, This Rambo fella needs to realise that people have different things going on in their lives and should not beat them down !!

Agreed it is annoying not actually knowing what the facts are. Equity say the 4th and they had that from royal mail. Our HR seem to be saying something different.

That won’t happen because if there’s no tax and NI to pay, Equiniti will just pay the money into peoples’ accounts as they do with the dividends. Royal Mail or payroll won’t be involved at all. :Applause :Applause
