Hi
Considering applying for a postman job nr a built up city. Although the offer is a permanent contract with part time hours(25hrs /week) I hear that Overtime is nearly always available. Can anyone confirm this is correct as the part time hrs on offer would not be financially viable.
Also, what is the chance of being given full time hrs eventually? Thanks.

Overtime/part time hrs leading to full time
1. At present, the job absolutely relies on Part-Timers doing overtime, but its never guaranteed and therefore don't make any long-term financial planning based on it.
2. Very Slim I am afraid. RM find PTime Contracts more efficient than FT ones because by necessity PTimers are more flexible about their working hours.
