Unfortunately like most evangelical followers of any religion jetblack, you see everything in black and white. What that means is your little minority camp sits on one side of the debate calling everyone else names, your real enemy sits in their little minority camp calling everyone else names and the majority of society sits in the middle getting called names by both sides, having their needs ignored and wondering why they bother.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

Blah blah blah indeed. Jet's usual catch-all, foggy instant summations.jetblack wrote:OK - a quick recap for newcomers to this thread. We have 3 or 4 main posters to this thread (not including those just passing thru like wannabe, and his elucidatory and succinct brand of "we've never had it so good at 18" political philosophy) - and they are to a man vehemently anti socialist.
Their world view consists, to a largepart, of this :- man isetc etc etc - blah blah blah.
Being the good socialist you like to claim Jet, have you bought those extra RM shares yet?
You're in good company though; Seumas Milne and Diane Abbott are two of the biggest hypocrites to walk this Earth, along with that other congenitally idiotic Stalin-apologist Tony Benn.
Socialism is for the council house proles, and not for us, eh Jez?

Then there's the Shadow Home Secretary, the vile Diane Abbott who apparently is "ashamed to be British" and who was appointed by Corbyn (
wonder why?)
Very statesperson-like language there, Diane, but then I suppose it's only really for the consumption of the Islington metro elite and not the rest of the UK.

The reason is Corbyn himself is anti British, tman, he's a supporter of communism and no doubt would have been a supporter of Oswald Mosley in days gone by. Not to worry though his days are numbered even labour supporters think he's a muppet. Didn't manage to catch PMQs last week but am looking forward to his pathetic attempt to appear intelligent. Someone said he has an NVQ 3 in diplomacy but I suspect it was bought off ebay

Eh? More like a BCP member, and parading through the streets under the Hammer and Sickle flag. Well, not really parading....maybe holding court with a load of students in some obscure Cambridge debating society, and quoting Karl Marx and Lenin to his appreciative (but naïve) audience.dvbuk55 wrote:The reason is Corbyn himself is anti British, tman, he's a supporter of communism and no doubt would have been a supporter of Oswald Mosley in days gone by.

Thought Oswald Mosley was a fascist which is totally different to a communist but having said that why do we need extremism in politics we all live in a democratic nation of four states. Let the good people decide our fate one can only congratulate that we have democracy and not war at this time. I for one am a left wing person as I am a union member and never will cross a picket line yet some undermine us all by playing politics on-line and as much as I love a good debate on here bashing an elected leader of our labour party is not exceptable as the Tory party would love it. If you do you need to ask the questions of our democratic leader of labour party which he secured a mandate for you only need to look at the conservative party whom Theresa May did not get elected which is how bad things like un-elected leaders like Oswald Mosley and his policy's and that of Adolf Hitler and a war which claimed untold numbers of lives!dvbuk55 wrote:The reason is Corbyn himself is anti British, tman, he's a supporter of communism and no doubt would have been a supporter of Oswald Mosley in days gone by. Yes - good points - makes you wonder whose side some people are on. Seems some don't like democracy after all - the same people that haven't once questioned the draconian and oligarchical methods by which power is passed down in the Conservative Party.k979aaa wrote:... some undermine us all by playing politics on-line and as much as I love a good debate on here bashing an elected leader of our labour party is not exceptable as the Tory party would love it. FWIW it looks like JC is more than holding his own in parliament with Theresa May - even today he's pinned her down on her pre brexit talks with the Almighty Goldman Sachs (yes, the same Goldman Sachs who played more than a bit part in the 2008 crash (for which we are all still paying the price). Not what some want to hear, JC holding court, but its true for all that.
Come on Jeremy

It won't matter what Jezza says about Brexit he's not at the table and Tess won't be proclaiming Article 50 until next year. I think she's playing it right not to divulge what the tactics will be, although I think "Brexit means Brexit" is a little terse, it's easy meat for Jezza to keep harping on about it.

i couldn't believe she actually said that - so I just googled it - and she did. I suppose she is a politician so what do you expect ?dvbuk55 wrote: I think "Brexit means Brexit" is a little terse,
In the same vein, here's another little pearl of wisdom for you, straight from the Jetblack met office, on tommorrows weather - it will either be raining or it won't be raining

May wasn't elected, but then PM's aren't elected, they're chosen by their party. Mosley wasn't elected either, but then he wasn't a leader of a recognised political party, just a mere footnote in history and a bogeyman for the Far Left . Conversely, Corbyn is the leader of a recognised political party, but he'll never be elected either."k979aaaIf you do you need to ask the questions of our democratic leader of labour party which he secured a mandate for you only need to look at the conservative party whom Theresa May did not get elected which is how bad things like un-elected leaders like Oswald Mosley and his policy's and that of Adolf Hitler and a war which claimed untold numbers of lives!
It's hard to see what you're getting at when you omit punctuation, but he's very far from "our democratic leader" (shades of North Korea!) and also very far from being above criticism, which is the strange scenario you and dear old Jet seem to want.
We will not tolerate criticism of the mighty leader (said in your best North Korean accent)...tough. The bloke's just an unfunny joke now.

As for "Brexit means Brexit" she's said it on multiple occasions and it is rather off putting for a confirmed brexiteer. Personally I would have invoked Article 50 immediately and then those cry baby remainers would be in no doubt that Brexit really did mean what it says and sod the consequences. The problem Tess has is the doom Sayers are still at it so really they are a negative influence on the whole proceedings: same goes for Widow Krankie from Scotland and the Welsh, it's one out all out and no buggering about. It's a sink or swim situation and we'll swim without a shadow of a doubt.

Now don't be like that I discourage violence of all kind's what you two need is indoctrination of the need's of workers if you have ever been workers you would not need this but to see how the Fascist management treat most of the staff these day's!dvbuk55 wrote:Tman wrote:May wasn't elected, but then PM's aren't elected, they're chosen by their party.
