is it worth paying £2.60 a week to the cwu . ill get a better return in a savings plan .Thats if i live to be 65 :arrrghhh :

this deal will be shite,but it will probably be brought in regardless one way or the other..lets be honest when hav,nt royal mail got what they want.we are going to get stiched up royally here...i feel sorry for all those who went on the wildcat strikes.its bad enough to sacrifice 4 days only to be let down by a lukewarm union,but to go out for as long as they did,when the union basically bottled it...hats off to those that did go out..but f**k me this union havnt exactly done us proud have they...

Anyone have solid info on WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR COUNTING THE VOTES?

it happened in the way forwards and it will happen on this deal aswell..surely over the past few months can anybody honestly trust anything that royal mail wont do to get what they want.

I think the Union rep in each office should be tasked to collate all votes either way for thier office over a week. The votes can be anonymous ( standard sheet with a simple "yes or no box" and each person ticked off as thier vote is dropped into a hat. The votes can then be tallied with a seperate observer and the result of the office vote pinned up before being sent to Union HQ.

The UNion could put a seperate webpage up showing ( ALL OF) each offices decision " yes'es and no's" ( like a spreadsheet) so there is no confusion as to the results and WE will get to see the results in real time as they are posted.

That'd be fair.

Please i urge all members not to withdraw from the union, instead we need to utilse the overwhelming support we had for the strikes, to change are union structure and make it more democratic and representative, we have to stay strong and united because they will be back and next time i think it will be the ultimate battle against PRIVATISATION :pray :pray :pray
