We have had problems with our PDAs the last 3 Thursdays - have RM been carrying out IT work at the busiest time of the week? This week it was worse than ever, I had to keep logging on at the beginning of my delivery and had over 90 on my scanner to download by the end. The collection drivers could not log on at all. RM go on about results, our manager has to daily inform the staff on the office performance, but the system is letting us down.

We're still using the old PDAs and I don't think anyone in the office sent a single item today! Been told we won't be getting the new ones until next year due to software problems, though if any of the old ones die a new one will probably be issued.

We had major problems on Tuesday afternoon and all day Wednesday. On Wednesday morning the PDAs refused to log in. We ended up having to use POD cards... and in all fairness, it didn't end up too bad as the duty I was on didn't have many tracked to scan. Many booked considerable amounts of overtime on Wednesday.

There is obviously something seriously wrong,we were told today that our PDA's (old type) would not send any data,do not re-boot just scan and bring them back loaded up and downloads would take place over the weekend/early Monday.I reckon that 2D's will have to be scrapped over Christmas and a re-evaluation of Data needs will take place.
Can I do it please?

Had problems with login onto them since last Saturday, also only being able to scan two items at a time which is a pain when you have businesses to deliver to.
