BBC are reporting that the PEC have agreed to recommend the deal for a vote. Anybody got anything more on it?

EXECUTIVE RATIFIES NATIONAL AGREEMENT

The CWU’s Postal Executive has today (Monday) ratified the national agreement between Royal Mail and the CWU and a national joint statement.



The agreement settles all areas of the dispute and will be subject to an individual members ballot.



Full details of the agreement will be available from the web later today.

If the deal is crap, as i fear it will be, we must reject it, and convince the
waverers to stand strong.
Any scab(sorry strikebreaker)feel like moaning about their working conditions

It will be voted in no matter how bad it is!

The weak ones were always waiting for a vote.

We sold out a 20 min break for £300.

When they see £175 up front despite the fact it is less the the back pay till April 07, they will take it no matter how much free d2ds they have to do or parts of walks for nothing!

Mind you who can blame them, our leadership has been woefull and their communication rubbish.

I am just looking forward to finding out who on the pec who voted for this agreement, if they are brave enough to state their position!

I will then use my vote to vote Ward and Hayes and any of the pec who voted for this 'way forward 2' off the union!

i don't think it will be voted in if it is total shite. don't forget 77% of us weren't happy with all the strings in the first place so it would take a lot of waverers for it to fall below 50%

i agree.

this deal will be shite,but it will probably be brought in regardless one way or the other..lets be honest when hav,nt royal mail got what they want.we are going to get stiched up royally here...i feel sorry for all those who went on the wildcat strikes.its bad enough to sacrifice 4 days only to be let down by a lukewarm union,but to go out for as long as they did,when the union basically bottled it...hats off to those that did go out..but f**k me this union havnt exactly done us proud have they...

It looks like the membership of the CWU will have to take on our own leadership as well as RM 'management'. Billy Boy will recommend the deal, we'll get bombarded with letters from him and Wardy telling us how great it is, we'll get letters from Stan and Ollie telling us how great the deal is, and we'll have walls full of propaganda posters and Work Time Lying to cope with. The only, and probably the best, thing we can do is let our workmates know how crap things will really be if we don't vote it out. It looks like a sell-out, but is anyone really surprised by that? I'm not.

lets hope the cwu PEC release the results of who voted for and against this deal then we know who the T8ssers were who sold us out ?
If possible get them voted off and out the PEC
