The Present Situation

Post by landyman »

This whole affair has been a shambles , little or no feedback from CWU. Talks again tomorrow, meeting again tomorrow, etc. Does anyone know what the f**k is going on apart from the fact that we are all getting shafted big-time? Great Place to Work ? Have your say? Here's mine --What Bo**ocks.

Since this place is now well established, would it be worth approaching the union about possibly paying the fees for this forum? I'd be a lot happier for my subs to go toward funding this place than paying to keep Gordon in power!!
Oh, and yes, they are very slow with info. I always check here first, then google and then maybe the CWU!

CWU site used to have a forum, but CWU closed it down because they said members were abusing/complaining about Union officials. It was closed down 2 or 3 years ago, now members have no way of expressing their views to National Officers. The web site is very poor for a union in the communications industry.

The CWU’s Postal Executive has today (Monday) ratified the national agreement between Royal Mail and the CWU and a national joint statement.

The agreement settles all areas of the dispute and will be subject to an individual members ballot.

Full details of the agreement will be available from the web later today.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets
