Scotland disclosure service..

So ive been waiting nearly 4 weeks to see if i have passed my security checks. Ive had an email today saying that the disclosure service they use has a query about my check and must contact them as soon as possible.

Has anyone else ever recieved an email like this? Im pretty sure all the details i have disclosed are accurate so im confused as to why they have a query.

If anyone could shed any light i would be very greatful.

Have you left any gaps in employment or residential addresses?

No longer than the 14 day period it specified. I couldnt remember the exact dates between two jobs 4 years ago so i guessed them. I knew the months, just not the exact dates. Same with moving between 2 addresses around the same time.

Just rang them, they wanted to confirm a few details on my application. Any previous names, previous addresses, and criminal convictions. Seemed like they were testing me to see if i was telling the truth to be honest.

They'll do that as a kind of sample survey anyway, perhaps you were just the unlucky one.
