surprisingly there was one advertised just after i posted on here , about 8 miles away, so i've applied for that.

I wasn't successful at an interview I had recently, and then about a week later I was phoned up about an opening a few more miles down the road and offered the job there.

So far I'm through to the Pre-Employment checks and just waiting on that 14 day period which I'm a few days into now. I'm trying not to get my hopes up and just taking each day as it comes, but I'll be over the moon if I get that phone call telling me where to go for induction.

Ok its going to be 4 weeks tomorrow since my checks started.. Has anyone else been waiting this long and not heard? Getting pretty frustrating now, my employers asking me on a daily basis if ive heard anything.

Who knows what are the pre-employment checks that they do?

I'm clean but I'm waiting and I'm just wondering why it takes so long.
