My friend, keep checking your status on your application. Mine use to say 'ASR EXT NON REF' then it changed to 'Pre Employment Checks'. After this it kept changing between 'SCP EXT NON REF' and 'Pre employment Checks' then I got my STEP 8 Formal Offer. I think to my knowledge Royal Mail make people start at the start of a month.

An advice for you dont give up hope, if you have no criminal offenses or anything then you should most deffinetly get back to you. :Very Happy

Cheers. I have no criminal convictions or that so thoroughly expect to pass just annoying how long it is taken and no one you can speak to about it. Mine has been stuck on pre employment checks for 3 weeks now.

How long did yours take if you dont mind me asking?

Another reason for the delay is that September and October is when they recruit for Christmas Temps, usually about 18,000. That slows the process down as well.

The security checks took exactly 22 days so about 16 workind days. I start in 4 and a half weeks from now however i think that is because i have 4 weeks notice to work.
