Are you Happy

Post by alanrmc »

When I first started in R/Mail, when I woke up in the morning I just thought OK here we go , and off I went to work it was really enjoyable. Now when I wake in the morning I think OH s**t here we go then. This has been caused by an ever increasing `work toll` Heavier bags, and more aggravation from the Managers!!! who, when you do the job properly by the `rules` think you are taking the P***. Then they tend to say "well so and so can do that walk quicker why can`t you? When its pointed out to them, others may not be doing the job `properly` ( taking due care of H&S rules) they get a bit `nasty`.

So what is needed to make this job enjoyable again comments please?

postie36 is right on the money get rid of job and finish!!
all this did was make a lot of very selfish posties.
lets go back to two deliveries when everyone came back to the office after their first del had a break and went out on second del, the work place was a lot happier

Perhaps you are right, maybe I should ask Big Al & Crozier if they would like to `dock` some more money from me ( perhaps also go next year without a further pay increase) and of course because of those nasty `Spanish Practices` I will do any job they want to allocate to my duty. Ah now I`m really depressed that should please my Lords!

Job and finish, must cease. Give them no room to introduce "flexibility." If ever Royal Mail want me to cover someone off sick, or someone on
annual leave, and for nothing, they'll realise soon enough the true meaning of wishful thinking.
