Do Royal Mail ask for references

As above I'm on the final stage of the process the security check stage, will I be asked to provide references ? Job is for postman with driving

No they didn't with me I think they just check dates you were there....

Wonder how they do that dominos which is one of the companies I worked for is huge and they don't even ask for a branch address or contact number, but the manager there is one of my references anyway

I had to supply references and because I was self employed it was difficult as the companies I did work for don't do individual ones I had to get private ones done by people within the company that knew me, it made the long process even longer, it took months for the checks to be validated!! But got their in the end.

I'm also self employed but have my references sorted but they haven't asked me for them, just the 5 year work history, not really bothered if they contact each individual company but there's always that one manager who I didn't see eye to eye with but we will see I guess
