I think the nonsense about who he met and when is really just a smokescreen hiding the main reasons he's unpopular with the majority of the voting public.

He's just not a very good leader.

Being a true leader of a party wishing to govern an entire country takes more than an almost blind servitude to a set of principles, it requires empathy with those who don't share your views, it requires an ability to compromise and find common ground, it requires an ability to engage and enthuse those who you need to work with political and public and it takes an ability to park that almost pious self righteous arrogance at home.

Corbyn just doesn't have it, I couldn't care less if he had lunch with Joe Stalin himself he just isn't a leader, he's at best a policy advisor, someone you keep in the room to balance the argument. Smith isn't much better but you can see Smith as being a small step towards reuniting the party, Corbyn will only continue to divide and destabilise the Labour party.

Lets not get side tracked here, McGuiness and Adams were terrorists and Corbyn favoured them as opposed to the peacemakers at that time. They only turned to peaceful means when they realised that there wasn't going to be a united Ireland and they couldn't win by bomb and bullet. It's well documented where Corbyns and McDonnell's sympathies have been aligned throughout.

Theresa May is currently in China at the G20 summit speaking to world leaders on the future of the UK - now who in their right mind could imagine Corbyn in that same position - who amongst those world leaders would take him seriously when the UK public don't - well apart from the Corbynistas. Unfortunately Theresa May has indicated that there won't be an election until 2020 and that is very bad news because that would probably mean that a split in the party is almost inevitable, though it means reselection is also a long way off - again a petty move by an armchair tyrant.

Judging from articles in todays press there is some evidence that Corbyn/Trotsky supporters have hijacked the BMA and are responsible for the organisation of the strikes by junior doctors whilst, according to them, "the government is on its knees" - really? I believe the government, albeit not my preference, has performed with distinction since the Brexit vote and that it's the labour movement who is on its knees.

I'm not sure who the "commie/trots" narrative suits best.
It seems both sides like to keep it going.

I do know that Corbyn's supporters don't seem to want to address his genuine leadership failings so I suppose it's handy to have a silly distraction.

I think it's called the Kansas city shuffle.

The Mail and Express have been using that line for decades now, and it's worn decidedly thin.
Corbyn will inevitably fall through his own unelectability and crass political persona; the Tory press don't need to publish such stuff to help that come about.

If you suspect someone of being a corbynista report them immediately to your local police station or call 999 at once.

They are already working as a 5th column within the British Medical Association - and we have it on good intelligence that they have also infiltrated the Womens Institute.

It does nothing for the cause of the Corbynistas to make light of obvious infiltration by the left in various organisations fuelled by minority left wing hysteria. You so called socialists believe that extremism is the way forward, fortunately the vast majority of ordinary labour supporters are more level headed and the eventual downfall of Corbyn and his followers is inevitable.

Quite a few empty seats baldrick, even semi intelligent people can be misled. Incidentally one of my daughters lives in Cheshire, she didn't mention it.
