It's billed as being an online version of the "have your say" (so RM can ignore it!) that we normally get annually. I guess they just don't want an independant company getting the truth from us.
ANNOUNCEMENT : ALL OF ROYAL MAIL'S EMPLOYMENT POLICIES (AGREEMENTS) AT A GLANCE (Updated 2021)... HERE

Has anyone noticed how starpanels was promoted as a way for us to give feedback to RM, but has "conveniently"
been out of action since we were told about it (over a month ago!).

It was on the "Royal Mail TV" screens.
They were advertising it on their HDTVs that they put all round the building. It was the only useful thing that I have seen on it. It was first advertised just over a month ago. Have you been lucky enough to not have them all over your office?
If so, I envy you. My index finger is getting sore from keep switching them off,
when they have adverts for the Scab Helpline, or propoganda videos trying to convince us that RM are right and we are wrong.
:lfo :cfo

Our office is on 3 levels and they put it on a different floor to me. Where they have put it I suspect only about 12 people could watch it properly at one go.

I wish I was that lucky!
Where we are, they are next to the signing in table, in reception, in the canteen, and in both the Team Brief rooms.TrueBlueTerrier wrote:Our office is on 3 levels and they put it on a different floor to me. Where they have put it I suspect only about 12 people could watch it properly at one go.
The latter, is particularly good. Because it causes a distraction during the Team Briefs, so even the managers tend to turn those off!

How did you manage to get a survey?

Every time I try to get on, it says that the site is being updated, and to try again later.

I finally got on!
I finally got on to the Starpanels Site today.
It's not quite what I expected, but it DOES have a new Forum. Not sure if they will turn out like PMC, but I've put an opening salvo on for any managers who might go on there. I asked why they were using that Warehouse in London, instead of putting the Post through.
Do you think I'll get a satisfactory answer?
I don't. But it's worth a try.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

We have to show them the light
That's why we need to show them the light, by explaining what's wrong with the deal. Otherwise, they will be tricked into thinking that it's worth voting for. You see, they can't get on here from RM Computers. But they are being actively encouraged to go on to Starpanels.
Obviously, it won't be long before they start kicking us off, or it's shut down by RM, considering that they are paying for it.
But we might as well take advantage of the chance while we have it.
