Drop and Go information

Hi there,

I have a drop and go account at my local post office, however its closing this weekend and another is opening within a local newsagent.

Enquiring within, Ive been told that he very much doubts they will be doing the drop and go facility.

My question is this...

Will I be able to use my current drop and go card in a different post office to the one it was registered in and always use?

Or will I have to open a new account with a new card in the shop/post office I choose to replace the closed post office ?

Our Post Office colleagues are not as prevalent on here as our Royal Mail ones, but while you are waiting for a reply I found the Drop and Go webpage - there is a search facility there to find the nearest one, so it looks as though you can drop it at any one. My understanding is that you can now use your Drop & Go card in any Post Office, though this change happened since I stopped working for them. What does vary a lot is how each branch handles it's Drop & Go customers, so you might want to go into the new branch and talk to the staff before taking your first load in.

I believe that Drop & Go is still quite a high priority for PO management, so hopefully the new franchisee will be similarly positive.
