Hi all,
I think I saw a thread about this, but its impossible to search on my phone.
On my contract it says: subject to clause 13 your appointment will be for a fixed term. The reason for your contract being fixed term is that it is anticipated the requirement for your employment is likely to cease on or about the expiry date because of business reorganization.
The date reflects our expectation of when the need for your services is likely to come to an end this could be sooner or later.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Contract question
Its a standard clause, be aware of it but don't be that concerned - most are kept on beyond that date, or their contracts are extended.
In fact with Father Christmas using us to deliver his catalogues right now it looks as though we are ramping up to a busy time at Christmas.
