Hi
I have a CCJ against me for late payment for council tax on an unoccupied buy to let property I had at the time. It was for £60. They last about 6 years and i have about 2/3 to go.
I didn't declare this at interview because I had forgotten about it. My brother remind me. I checked on the Rm criminal conviction list and couldn't find a CCJ listed.
I am worrying now.
What should I do?

County Court Judgement
Pretty sure a CCJ is a civil matter related to credit and debt, not a criminal matter. But in any case I think honesty is always the best policy and it would be better to contact them and explain now rather than having to defensively justify it at a later date if they ask about it. Honesty is going to be important because obviously they want to avoid hiring people who might steal from the post....
