Lurking for 6+ months, time to say hi & thank you.

I've been lurking on this forum for several months mainly reading the Blue Shirts and CWU forums.

The information I've found on here has helped me immensely in my time at Royal Mail.
It prepared me with what to expect in both the casual sorting role I first took on and then even more so in my permanent role as a postie.

I went into both roles with my eyes wide open as to what may occur. I'd say I've been lucky in my DO as the management are not too bad, although they do try it on now again, but thanks to this forum I knew if they were taking the mickey or not.

This place really is a godsend and all new RM employees should read this. I've told several new staff to sign up and read here and most of them haven't. Alas most of them have left because it wasn't the job they expected it to be.

I'll probably go back to lurking now, but just wanted to say hi and thanks for all the invaluable information you've given me so far. It really has made a difference.
