Employed but no induction?

Hi,
I've been 'officially' employed by Angard for 2 weeks now after signing and returning the contracts etc,but I have had no calls for induction. I am desperate to at least get an induction because there are warehouses nearby that will give me work if I have some basic experience. I'm going to get a manual handling certificate ASAP.
I don't want to put on my CV that I work for angard when in fact I haven't had any work. There are logistics firms in the same industrial park that are hiring on a week by week basis and I'm looking to earn cash over the summer holidays. I don't even get texts or private calls from Angard pure silence. So far I've been unimpressed with angard, I'm not joking when I say that there was a woman who could not speak English applied for the job, her mate was translating for her.

Update: I've been offered 3 shifts at a centre miles away from me. Really disappointed
