Well that's never going to happen because Corbyn is never going to form a government, although they say you should never say never but I'm so confident that if Corbyn gets elected I'll show my ar5e on the town hall steps midday on a Saturday and post it on here

If you do that please make sure there are no Liberal Democrats in the vicinity.

What exactly are you basing this is on?

From where I'm looking 60,000 new members of Labour in 5 days, and thousands upon thousands attending rallies to support him up and down the country

Answer me this what other modern day politician would this happen for??

Hmmm - that's a tough one fedup, I would imagine it's the 172 MPs who signed a motion of no confidence as opposed to the 40 who supported him, the 56 members of the cabinet who resigned. Now who do you believe the "thousands" of lefties or the PLP stuffed with politicians who've had years of experience within the political system. Apart from Corbyn who else wears a flat cap and smokes roll ups: well his "thousands of supporters" I would imagine.

How do you know these 60,000 new members support Corbyn?
Do you know something we don't?
Perhaps these new members have joined in order to remove Corbyn.
Perhaps they've been "recruited", pick a side, either way it's pretty obvious by the recruitment patterns the "democracy" of the Labour membership is compromised.

The only thing we can use as any kind of feasible measure of Corbyns election credentials/electability would be the local elections in May, where Labour appeared to hold its ground

Labour also gained a London Mayor whilst Corbyn was at the helm. Combine this with largest mandate ever (for any leader) from the party's members and he wouldn't appear to be the electoral catastrophe that some on here would like him to be.

Transference of guilt ? Scapegoating ? I dunno

He never really got it from Day One.
Leader of the Opposition doesn't mean you can trot (hoho) out all the little silly-bollix ideas you had back in the 1960s, or that mumbling on Marr about Argentina/Falklands, renationalising the railways or a reunited Ireland (FFS!) are not feasible or even necessarily desirable concepts from a man holding his position, and when you've made a laughing stock of yourself (whether intentionally or not) do the Right Thing and fall on your sword.
The game's up you silly little man. Even the tw*t Cameron got that right.

Very interesting article here, by Alex Salmond. As Salmond doesn't have any skin in this particular game, it makes a compelling arguement, and supports TBT's theory posted earlier in this thread.

Tommorrow will be an interesting day, and could shed a whole new light on the crucifxion of Jeremy Corbyn. If this does (ie.Chilcott), indeed, pan out to be the probable reason behind the oddly timed assault upon him, Corbyn would be well within his rights, in my view, to do whatever necessary to have the ringleaders of the coup (immediately) deselected.
If tommorrow is a whitewash, Benn et al are likely off the hook - if not, they should start looking for a new job, and let the Labour Party get on with the job of rebuilding itself..

Alex has been after Blair for Iraq for a long, long time, quite right too but it does mean he sees conspiracy everywhere. Unfortunately conspiracy or not it doesn't change the fact that Corbyn's leadership is dead in the water.

Who takes over from him should be your biggest priority now.
