It is alleged that some R/M Managers are less than intelligent? Can this be true, in one Bristol Office they seem to have about 63 yorks of packets. So what do they do? take the pkt drivers off to do walks then put these alleged less than intelligent Managers from other Offices onto pkts. Result - more pkt backlog. Can anyone beat the 63 yorks (no mail centres please)

That's not fair ! It's discrimination against people who work in mail centres :chuckle . We've got hundreds in the mail centre, and thousands in a warehouse in Livingston. :dance

We also have a packet mountain + every delivery has mail stacked up or left in frame.
I don't understand how some of you can say your offices are clear or near clearing, aint you 'DOING THE JOB PROPERLY'
What was the point of striking if you're gonna rush about & clear ?

I tell anyone who will listen about the packet mountain as this is the stuff they want. As has been said they like to get you off packets to go on a walk.
Royal Mail only care about delivering TNT letters.

only a handful of us have been doing the job properly in our office, therefore everything is cleared.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
