Leaving the EU will not make our UK leaders stay out of our European buddies conflicts, we're already chasing the US into wars, you know, that big country across the pond that we're not tied into an economic union with?

As for talk of a single European police force, that's just plain impossible. Scotland merging all their local police forces into one has been enough of a failure, if Europe, for some mad reason, tried to do the same then it really would be time to grab the torches and pitchforks and have a bit of a revolution, possibly plunging Europe into 100 years of darkness, ruled by City States with anarchist ruled no man's land inbetween and posties being paid a king's ransom just to venture out and deliver Aunt Fanny's birthday card...hold on...am I on to something here?
You might be with Fanny in the equation. :cuppa
Nice input :thumbup

I kid you not and I am quite serious, there are people I know who are voting to leave the EU for one reason, to stop those bloody muslims coming here and us ending up with Sharia law, apparently, London electing a muslim mayor is the thin end of the wedge because he has allowed a muslim charity to put adverts on busses. You really couldn't make it up.

Absolutely bloody ridiculous that the EU is actually bunging all these people to say remain - everyone should see this, the whole nation. Not only the CWU but the TUC, Unison et al all professing to know that remain is the way - makes you wonder what the payoff will be if the remain camp win

Not quite they received that money over the last 9 years - don't think remain has been going that long. Also they provide no corroborating links to view, but I am checking

Well regardless of that TBT they are obviously not going to bite the hand that bungs them over however long a time. If they'd like to bung me a few grand maybe I'd change my mind :cuppa but it would need to be in my account before tomorrow.

To be fair to the CWU, and I accused of attacking them on occasion, it was put to a vote at conference whether to back Remain or go with Brexit. The delegates chose Remain by some margin, don't think they would have seen any of that money.

Some of the comments on here are laughable, the EU actively supports a trade union and that's a bad thing?, the union decides through conference debate to support an institution that supports trade unions and the trade union movement and that's a bad thing?

Some of you guys have no idea what you are wishing for and if you get what you want you'll be the first to start whining about it. You're being taken for mugs by Farage and Bojo,

This is nothing but a right wing coup and they have duped some of the working class to act as their shock troops.
Every time I hear Farage talk about "taking on the establishment", I want to vomit. He is the establishment.
With the £350 million we give to the EU we could build a new NHS hospital every week? Do you think they would? (Never mind how they would staff it)
Do any of them actually use the NHS?

They hate the NHS. They hate our schools. They hate our unions.
A vote to leave the EU would be a vote for a return of Thatcherism with jackboots on.
And that anyone who claims to care about the NHS or the workers or the unions even contemplating voting to leave the EU beggars belief.

That is why the CWU is advocating a vote to remain I the EU because they know anything else will probably lead to an outright attack on us.
Talk about turkeys voting for xmas.
Never let the hand you hold, hold you down.

I certainly hope it isn't a remain vote, as for not knowing what brexit means, the remainers are in for a shock when the EU apply new rules being held over until after the vote, when VAT is raised on exempt and lower rate items, when Turkey is fast tracked into the EU and even more migrants stream in, when Greece, Portugal, Spain et al reach financial crisis point again and we pay to bail them out despite Cameron saying "over my dead body" last time.

The remainers shouldn't be concerned about what happens on exit but what will happen if the remainers win and the EU think it's carte blanche to do whatever they like and they will. It'll be no good crying then, the milk will be well and truly spilt.

Think for yourselves.
Don't read bollocks on the internet, there are no facts out there just agenda led bias.

Think about the reality of life outside the EU, don't believe that it necessarily means an end to immigration or the free movement of labour,. For further reference see Norway and Switzerland.

Think about what the reality was before we entered the EU, the 1970s.

Don't believe for a minute that "we" will be taking back control of anything, we've never had any control, what you will really be doing is giving control to people like Farage and Johnson.

Don't think there is any real democracy in this country, no-one standing against the status quo stands a chance of having any real power to protect the working class.

Try to make a decision with your head free from petty bigotry and fear.

Make sure you vote.

Surely if we remain we will have less influence within the EU, after all our glorious leader went over there to threaten them with " We will leave if.... " Came back with nothing. Now he is shouting from the roof tops that he can not manage our ecconomy without them, it will be a disaster for the Uk. So how can he now play his cards within the EU from a position of strength. Germany and France will will be rubbing their hands, and as more countries join our influence will grow weaker. Our borders will remain an open door to an ever expanding centralised, federalised EU. Migration, ( which I am in favour of btw ) carries a huge economic and social burden if it is not planned or controled.

By leaving it gives us the power to manage to our needs and capacity. I also believe it would help us re-establish a manufacturing industy within the Uk, rather than having lucrative parts of our industries transported to smaller low economy contries with the bribe of a fat EU grant.
