I believe thats their pay review date, ours is 1 April every year. Theirs 1 September.

Agree. Do RM even have to offer us a payrise? Especially one with no strings.

Walking out over this would make us look greedy. Better to save that for something worth defending, e.g. our paid breaks.

Look at other people who do a similar sector jobs. No courier gets what we do, a lot of them are running around for minimum wage.

If posties go on a national strike wanting more than a 1.6% payrise, which is above the RPI rate of inflation, then yes the public would think we're greedy.

Yeah the time to stand up was before Royal Mail got privatised. Now it is the market forces dictate what happens.

Voted yes. To start with, it's a payrise which I would wager most people don't get. It's also above inflation, and finally, do you really feel we deserve a pay rise? As plenty people have already said, we get paid pretty well for doing what is essentially labour. I've done much harder jobs for much less money in the past
