typical DM bollox. how's it going to get up steps, how's it going to knock doors, open gates, write out a p739, carry a pouch, whistle a happy tune, drink coffee and eat chips.

in the 60s the Post Office ran some trials. They proved to be more efficient so they were discontinued.
