It does affect them though if its going on when both the manager and postie should be working, after all they are taking up the slack but not getting any "benefits".

I would agree however if the deed was being performed outside of work hours.

This is like an episode of EastEnders. All we need now is a fight in the pub between the randy Postie and the well-hung sector manager over who has the right to bang the DO. Maybe they could do it in shifts. Whatever they decide it's nice to see a Postie shafting a manager for a change rather than us all being shafted from above. Stay tuned.

Right gents heres what's happened over all this. The sector manager did come down like he said. I think one of my colleagues went straight to HR when I was originally asking on here. But no one's said for sure yet. The SM arrived and there was talking between him and the DOM in the office out of earshot. The postie seemed to think it wasn't involving him but then he was called in and there spoke for ages and it was obvious to all us that it had came to light. Basically both parties were suspended then and there as the postie played his cards right but the manager, silly really, confessed it was during work hours they were literally "on the job, on the job". Don't know what her other half is like or if he knows yet but small village, he will before long. Posties wife, lovely woman as I said, had definitely heard she was down office hysterical looking for the manager!! Luckily for both she was gone by then but she does know her anyway. Sector manager addressed us and said he knew that we knew basically but the bigger issue was the false hours. So until we get a new DOM it's to be run ourself (8 remaining staff) with a weekly WTL visit and a phone in system for needing managerial assistance. Do t get me wrong were all sad to see the postie go, even though he was "sticking it to the man" he was good crack. Thing is the managers sister in law teaches at the school the Posties young uns go to, messy business and some big explaining/grovelling to come.

Well they laid their own bed so to speak. It couldn't have continued it needed to be sorted like this by RM as they have both potentially committed fraud over the OT claim - if he was ghosting. Shame about the other halves who may have lost income for the household. Can't see many marriages surviving this.

Sounds a bit far fetched to me.

So, if they weren't, where does that leave us ? 2 people in trouble for spending 10 minutes in private together ?
