Going on strike at Christmas will harden public opinion against us and that will be fatal. November is ok though.

just a thought for those that have slagged the executive off over this fiasco - ward and hayes "reached an agreement" a week ago with royal mail. They took it to the pec and clearly have been told to feck off! at least we know that some members of the executive have had the balls to stand up to dave and billy and let them know exactly what they think off their negotiating skills. yes, its dragging on, and yes, the communication has been shite, but those few of us who actually bothered to vote in the elections for the postal executive commitee should be satisfied that at least some of them really are fighting "our" corner. not too sure about billy and dave, but then again, i have no reason to think otherwise, what do i know though?

You know the old saying - No news is good news - well in fact in this case it's no news is ermmmmm no news.

I think in future we may as well cut out the middlemen and go straight to the voters.

But at least we have the middlemen to keep an eye on Billy and Dave's negotiations, pity there isn't someone in RM to keep an eye on Al and Adam's.
