If some of these managers at RM were to apply to another courier company for a management position, they would see right through them (and laugh them out the door). The majority of them would never get a job a as manager in the real world and they know that. If RM want to be more competitive employ experienced and qualified managers- this is not a JOKE.

Coppers like a laugh. Until you start singing "Harry Roberts is our friend!" Their sense of humour doesn't seem to strech to finding that funny.

If you want to see really lazy tossers dossing about then visit your local town hall and my goodness they are the most wasteful money sucking layabouts ever!!

Don't help anyone, don't produce anything note-worthy, just sit there whacking in inflation busting rises for what???... to line their free pension schemes on my post-tax salary! :mad

I'd sack 2/3rds of you and see if anyone notices... you collect the bins every 2 weeks so what the f**k are you doing on your week off??? :evil/mad

If only you could change your council like the phone company/gas/electric/tv I wouldn't use none of you just a private company so I could see where my cash is going!

I notice that you've got a big ol' house converted into an office in leafy Blackheath... WHY?

Unison council scum... I'd s**t you lot of ya! :wave

For someone who CLAIMS to be educated, you don't show any evidence for it in your Posts. :d'oh! :hmmmm

Are you capable of putting together a reasoned argument, or do you just use this site to cause as much offence as possible. And paint yourself and your collegues in the worst light possible?!? :hmmmm

That's what makes me laugh about your types you'll give it the big one on those who you are managing but quake with fear in front of your senior managers. Quote from LondonUNISON.

How true is this, makes me laugh as well. They all run around pleasing any manager above them - no dignity.

Alternatively visit your local Royal Mail managers office. boneidle_2002 you've got to be tripping thinking managers are better qualified. Were you bullied at school ????

I wouldn't bite - it's just a bit of tedious trolling. Ignore it and they usually give up and leave.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

dont worry a lot of these managers wont b with us shortly if my experience is anything to go by.
two previous companies i worked for before used thier managers to implement unpopular working practises and had a cull to streamline the workforce to increase efficency but once everything was in place. guess what

NO NEED FOR ALL THOSE MANAGERS. 12 BECAME 1

so there is still hope even if we lose this round of i/a

judging by the calibre of managers i have seen at our office i would say they are to scared of the "bullies" above them! then we have had a steady precession of acting losers from every office in the sk area! if they are liars, ex union reps, bullies, then send em to macc to spice things up a bit ! the majority don't stay very long before they drift into the kind of behavior they have been sent to macclesfield for!! i am afraid royal mail does not really practice what it preaches regarding bullying etc etc! but in the words of our leader "let's crack on!!!"
