They'll be booking an extra overnight at our expense
I can't understand what's taking so long. If after a week they are STILL undecided then it must NOT be the deal we would want and so they may as well reject it and get us back on the street before we clear more of the backlog.

tell them to s**t or get off the pot!
this is starting to get rediculous, how can we face are members and tell them to stay strong when yet again rm are getting the chance to clean up from our last IA and then say we must start again. it will be a whole lot harder getting backing next time!

i don't really understand what is going on with pec. they wanted amendments so have they got them or haven't they? it wouldn't take a teacher this long to mark an exam paper

I agree with you. The feeling i got off the floor was the same and if todays meeting ends up getting adjourned until monday, i for one will not be putting any effort into changing there minds.
Why wasnt IA called for Monday just gone? iIt is totally beyond me.

Ok i really dont want to go off topic on this thread,as its an important information machine for us..........

As you say crocodillapig, the membership will have much less faith in the union after the fiasco this week and will be tempted to ignore calls for IA.

I'M NOT WORRIED, BUT ANXIOUS THAT WE'VE LOST THE OPPORTUNITY TO PRESS HOME THE ADVANTAGE WE HAVE AT THE MOMENT :d'oh! ...WE SHOULD ANNOUNCE FURTHER STRIKE ACTION NOW (BECAUSE OF ADVANCE NOTIFICATION LAWS). LET'S GET STRIKE DATES IN PLACE NOW, THEN WE CAN FOLLOW THEM UP OR WITHDRAW THEM IF A SATISFACTORY RESULT IS ACHEIVED :nana :nana :nana

The normal saying is "get ready to be shafted".

I hope i am wrong but it looks as though we are about to be 'spit roasted'.
