~10.25% reduction in full time contract hours over 3 years, to a 35 hour week including current paid meal relief allowances for hours worked.

Most if not all the reduction comes off Mon/Tues/Sat, meaning full timers by default get 30mins meal relief on those days, as contracted working day drops under 7 hours (if they do overtime taking them past 7 hours, they get an additional 10mins meal relief).

Part time staff get 10.25% pay rise over 3 years, with at least their current existing contract hours.

All start times shifted to at least 0730 for current year, at least 0800 for 2017-18, 0830 for full timers on Mon/Tues/Sat in 2018-19.

Contract finishing times made as close as possible for all duties, job and finish ends for real this time, nobody can sign out more than 20mins before their finish time. "Spare time" used for clearing depots of live/dead mail and prepping D2Ds for all duties.

Enhanced overtime rate kicks in for all staff when they work more than their contracted hours on any given day, at least 125% of standard pay rate.

Next week's lottery numbers will be 34, 49, 11, 16, 5, 1. :chuckle

posted this back in October and I stand by it

I'm gonna save them the trouble of all those meetings - we won't get a pay rise as we are already paid 'really well for an unskilled job', we will get a shorter working week by taking our paid breaks away, the business and union will decide that to 'in order to facilitate good management of periods of sickness' we won't be paid for the first 3 days sick, seniority will be abolished as it discriminates against those who like to have a job for only 6 months and we don't have to pay a pension or sick pay to BUT we will have a 'really good' bonus scheme that we won't be allowed to know the details of ( but it will be really good) until the time it comes to pay out when we discover we are really all s**t at our jobs and our bonus ( that the union fought tooth and nail for) is 46p and we should be so grateful to the union for securing it our subs will go up

that said they will be in meetings for about a year anyway and we must not ask questions till they are ready to tell us

Forgot to add your pension is at risk and you will pay double of your contributions or they will close the scheme down because they cannot afford it after contracting out ended.

They will want more for less, and the CWU will stand idly by and let it happen. Again.

I predict a lot of talks with lots of scaremongering lasting almost until next April where we will get a back dated 1.5% and next year a 3 year pay deal of 11% in real terms with a reduction to 35 hours per week.
