Yes he can, there is no compunction for anyone to post on here it is voluntary. However those posts have to follow certain rules, and if it appears people are "ganging up" or Bullying and harrasing members I will take action.

That includes new members on fishing expeditions.

I totally agree. Although that being the case, why do they even bother being in the union? Surely they could give themselves a ~£12 per month pay-rise by leaving!

wow so basically you can allude to knowledge that casts doubt on peoples ability without any recourse, what a great place the internet is a world of no responsibility or accountability but meanwhile in the real world honest people who put their hand up for public responsibility and accountability are tarnished. Maybe people should raise any issues and concerns at the correct place say maybe an AGM or even in an open letter to their branch that way both sides could be scrutinised. as far as harassing or bullying goes maybe you should look at a lot of posts as they seem to be very disrespectful and nasty but then maybe if I can get 30,000 posts I will receive some protection

Spillie mate, if you're going to go to the trouble of inventing a new persona in a poor attempt to goad me at least try not to post with exactly the same dearth of punctuation.

It's no big secret, the branch didn't do enough, why that was is down to your own imagination but the members will draw their own conclusions.

Not looking to argue but would like to know these things as I suppose all members would and then maybe we could either change things or get answers, sorry for any offence just looking to have good representation and given where we may be headed under privatisation we need leaders we can trust and rely on I just assumed we had them

Well if you want a couple of my thoughts.

1. The branch is geographically too large.
2. It's too focused on "the town".
3. We need at least one more ADR.
4. When ballots like this come around it's not just about the big DOs like mine, we also need to reach the smaller offices which actually have members more likely to vote.
5. Our recruitment is very poor and our density is decreasing.
6. Like all branches there are personality issues but I don't want to get into that on here because it's unfair on individuals.
