No you lost your shift pattern because your office agreed to it.

because we were told off our union, (including area rep, and branch) that we couldn't keep our shift patterns and if we DID vote for them then 9 jobs would go out of the office. it was stated our votes wouldn't be accepted to keep the status quo because of this. and the only votes open to us was 1 in 4 sats off or 1 in 3. we have been totally duped into voting for something none of us wanted. our union reps have lied to us.

It's always worth remembering some reps area and branch etc have full time release with permission from rm, some reps in that situation look out for rm just to keep their full time release status, never take anyone's word for anything and whether it be a manager or a area rep insist on bad things or things that you are told are not allowed to be put in writing, that creates a paper trail to the person telling lies and gives them an incentive not to do it or they could be in the poo later on when there's proof they said aomething

thanks for that. theres a few of us in here are rebellious towards our reps since we fell for all this crap. and theres an ice cold atmosphere sometimes around them. its been mentioned that there was no agreement for compulsory redundancies, so now they've even changed their tune on that one as well. now they say it wouldn't have been redundancies but the 9 people would have been moved to other offices! more lies. you can bet your boots at the next set of changes, we WILL ask for it in writing. cheers.
