The best is when your lapsing is 10 minutes the opposite way to your duty so adds 30-40mins

Or when they add it to your frame, call it part of your duty and then lapse another duty on top of that?

A few have even made a stand because the Amount of Lapsing is unfair, some Single Duties take 60 Delivery Points , others have 40 Delivery points between a Van share! They've said they won't take lapsing until it's sorted! :thumbup

It's now got to the point that a Planner is being brought in to Sort Out the Lapsing. Although we can't get him to sort out all the Duties that have problems, and we believe should be Re-Tested! :arrrghhh
They give us about 40 calls each during the week(not Wednesdays) but on Saturday we get 100 calls each,Dom NEVER works Saturdays. But in our office those in charge seem duty bound to make Saturday as hard as possible, although on some sections we are told to leave all MS3 and DSA just to get the absorbtion done......really makes my blood boil.

We are a Cat 4 office(see One Plan thread)

Some DO's have local agreements that MS3 gets left behind on a Saturday but leaving DSA behind is not allowed on any day, it's first class

Very few offices have a valid local agreement to leave MS3 on a Saturday.
They were all revoked as part of the BT2010 agreement so unless you've still to "transform" what you actually have is a "turn a blind eye to failure" agreement.

Agree FT :Applause Most DOMs bend the rules when it suits them. :no no We have a particularly vocal colleague who always asks the DOM why he's leaving trays of mail unsorted. He never gets a straight answer. I believe we should be working properly, at all levels, and not creating a false impression of the workload. But it is a bit like Turkeys voting for Christmas! :d'oh!

which part of the agreement actually states its becomes a "normal" working day? i think you will find it states that it will "standardises service delivery times Monday to Saturday"

Also at no point in the agreement does it state that the previous agreement allowing the with holding of MS3 was being revoked
