Well if it's going to take you over your duty time you either book overtime or bring work back!

Royal Mail are fully aware that they will have to pay extra to get this delivered, it's your choice if you want to take the money or not.
Well said that man!! It's as simple as that

calling it a referendum or an election doesn't matter as the national agreement covers both, both are organised by the electoral commission and rules apply to royal mail the same

Health & Safety laws that protect us at work
Err, no. The Health and Safety at Work Act was passed in 1974, and nothing to do with anything EU-related.
Why not go the whole hog and claim (as so many do) that the EEC/EU has meant peace in Europe from 1945 onwards?

Talk about selective quotes.
That's an old Torygraph article decrying H&S and EU involvement in it.
As you disputing H&S was introduced in 1974?

The post you quoted was that health and saftey laws that help protect us came from the EU, it did not state all health and saftey laws, you stated "no" I pointed out that the original point is correct and that indeed health and saftey laws have came from eu

also my quote from the telegraph is only to highlight that laws have indeed came from the EU, are you saying that is incorrect?

It's frightening that people like you are going to vote on this matter so maybe you could share with us all your vision of a post exit UK as none of you "get us out brigade"have even tried to explain your reasons why

How is that you were the one who said "no" that health and saftey laws that help protect us came from eu, the vast majority of recent ones have, I personally am not advocating leaving or staying, haven't made up mind yet but I just don't like people posting incorrect information which I believe you did

You're hard work.
The original post "claimed" H&S was a benefit of the EU, and I said it pre-dated the original EU joining date by at least a year.
That the EU has added to current H&S regs is irrelevant to the original point. The UK government set up the HSE, not the EEC as it was then.

No EU leaflets up here in Scotland until after the Scottish Election in May. On a side note our office has Tory Party door to doors for said election this week. So instead of the 3p or whatever we normally get per election item they are just included in our delivery supplement payment. Not like the Tories to find a loophole to shaft the working man :arrrghhh
